Strawberry cocktails are a wonderful way to enjoy the sweet, juicy taste of strawberries. Many cocktail recipes solely rely on fresh strawberries, whereas others use strawberry syrup for the best taste. You’ll even find uses for strawberry vodka. Several drinks are frozen, and there are plenty of martinis and tall, refreshing mixed drinks to enjoy, too. Summer is the ideal season for strawberry drinks (but they’re fun all year round), and you’ll soon discover that they come in a myriad of interesting flavors.

Strawberry daiquiri is one of the most popular variations of the classic rum daiquiri and is perfect for cooling off on a warm summer day. Fresh or frozen strawberries, whatever the form, a strawberry daiquiri made from scratch is sweet, refreshing, and irresistible.

Make the best Strawberry Daquiri with these simple steps

We’ve got a recipe for a delicious fresh-fruity cocktail that we’re sure you’ll love!

Ingredients:

  • 57ml light rum
  • 28ml Zone mojito syrup
  • 28ml Zone Strawberry syrup
  • 14ml freshly squeezed lime juice
  • 3 to 4 large strawberries, sliced
  • 1 cup ice
  • Fresh whole or sliced strawberries, for garnish

Method:

  • In a blender, add the rum, Zone mojito syrup, Zone Strawberry syrup, lime juice, strawberries, and ice.
  • Blend well at high speed until smooth.
  • Pour into a chilled margarita glass.
  • Garnish with fresh strawberry slices or a whole strawberry. Serve and enjoy.

Most often, the strawberry daiquiri is a blended cocktail served as a boozy, fresh fruit smoothie. While strawberry daiquiris can be made in many different ways, it is always nice to incorporate your own spin. Spice things up by changing the type of rum, adding more fruit or garnishing with freshly cut mint leaves, herbs, or any other edible flower.

Here are some tips on how to make the best daiquiri

  • Mix fresh berries into the drink after washing and hulling them properly. Moreover, cutting the fruit reduces mashing time.
  • Shake the strawberry daiquiri well and serve it over fresh ice with a chilled cocktail or margarita glass. Because fresh strawberries are recommended, it is best to fine strain this cocktail. To do so, simply place a fine-mesh strainer over your glass as you’re straining. It will keep most of the strawberry chunks and seeds out of your drink.
  • If you like, you can add your favorite rum. You do not need the best rum to achieve a wonderful flavor as the heavy fruit flavor is enough.
  • If your frozen drink is too thin, add a little more ice and blend again. Too thick? Add a splash of liquid and blend.
